Tiffany & Co. Facilities Operating Engineer

- Repair and maintain all process and building equipment, including HVAC, plumbing, process piping, wastewater treatment, electrical, and lighting systems.
- Execute preventative maintenance tasks as part of the Preventative Maintenance Program.
- Test and inspect emergency and life safety systems to ensure compliance with FM, NFPA, OSHA, and other agency standards.
- Complete project and fabrication work, including procurement of parts and supplies, with timely follow-up.
- Communicate with external vendors for service support and parts supply.
- Support external contractors on facility projects.
- Maintain adequate inventory to support facility operations.
- Adhere to safety procedures and report safety issues promptly.
- Provide suggestions for safety improvements.
- 3-5 years of experience in a related field
- Certificates of fitness: Q01/S13/S12/A35/S95/F01
- Ability to use power tools and craft equipment
- Ability to read blueprints
- Basic plumbing and pipefitting experience
- Basic carpentry and fabrication skills
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Strong problem-solving capabilities
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Availability for emergency calls after hours
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and overtime
- Technical degree (preferred)
- Knowledge of Preventative Maintenance Programs
- Welding experience
Minimum of 3 years in a related field, with certificates of fitness and proficiency in relevant technical skills.
Technical degree preferred.
The hiring range for this position is $30.43 - $41.17 per hour, dependent on skills and experience.
