Tiffany & Co. Assistant Manager - Accounting

- Assist in the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
- Ensure compliance with accounting standards and internal policies.
- Prepare and file accurate tax returns in compliance with Korean tax regulations.
- Monitor and analyze changes in tax legislation and advise management on implications.
- Assist in the preparation and coordination of internal/external audits.
- Respond to audit inquiries and implement recommendations for improvement.
- Support treasury operations, including cash management, forecasting, and reporting.
- Collaborate with banks and financial institutions to optimize cash flow.
- Work closely with Korea Market to support their accounting needs.
- Supervise and mentor accounting staff, providing training and support as needed.
- Identify opportunities for process efficiencies and implement best practices.
- Assist in the development of accounting policies and procedures.
- Conduct financial analysis and special projects as requested by management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; CPA or equivalent certification is preferred.
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in accounting, with a focus on supporting international operations, preferably in Korea.
- Retail experience is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of accounting principles and practices, particularly in a multinational environment.
- Proficiency in accounting software and MS Excel; experience with JDE E1, Coupa or Concur is a plus.
- Good command of both written and spoken Korean and English, with the ability to convey complex financial information clearly.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and manage multiple priorities.
