- Identify and report theft or company policy violations committed by employees to the direct supervisor.
- Observe, apprehend, or deter individuals committing external theft.
- Review exception reports and inventory data to detect dishonest activities.
- Assist with internal investigations and conduct interviews.
- Ensure compliance with legal and company policies regarding investigations and evidence preservation.
- Conduct physical surveillance on the production floor and through CCTV systems.
- Testify in court for cases involving the company.
- Participate in inventory processes and shrink reduction plans.
- Train warehouse associates in theft prevention and safety protocols.
- Maintain professional relationships with warehouse personnel, law enforcement, and other retailers.
- Serve as a trainer and mentor for new and existing agents and security staff.
- Review and approve security staff schedules.
- Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment, preferably within Supply Chain.
- Strong written, verbal, interviewing, listening, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Intermediate computer proficiency.
- Ability to make quick, appropriate decisions in stressful situations.
- Aptitude for de-escalating volatile situations.
- Capacity to work independently and maintain confidentiality.
Minimum of 2 years of Loss Prevention experience in a retail environment, preferably within Supply Chain.
High School graduate or equivalent.
Starting base pay is $23.00 - $24.60/hr. Certain work schedules may also be eligible for shift differential pay.
