Rimowa Senior Accountant

- Oversee the entire financial closing and reporting process for Rimowa France, ensuring compliance with French GAAP and IFRS standards.
- Manage the monthly closing of complete financial statements and applicable tax reports.
- Receive, verify, and enter invoices into accounting software (SAP).
- Prepare and process payments, ensuring accurate documentation of financial transactions.
- Monitor analytical allocations, including cost center allocation and verification of internal order information.
- Reconcile and process financial discrepancies and bank reconciliations.
- Prepare tax returns, including VAT, corporation tax, CVAE, and C3S.
- Transfer complete financial statements to the LVMH group consolidation tool.
- Ensure compliance with and continuous improvement of internal control procedures in accordance with LVMH Group rules (ERICA).
- Manage relationships with external auditors.
- Monitor changes in accounting standards and ensure their correct application.
- Actively participate in projects related to the continuous improvement of accounting procedures and tools, as well as business-related transformations such as omnichannel initiatives and geographical expansion.
- Higher diploma in accounting (DCG / DSCG / DEC).
- 7 to 10 years of experience in general accounting, with expertise in French GAAP and IFRS.
- Proficiency in business English.
- Strong analytical and technical accounting skills.
- Autonomous, proactive, organized, and meticulous with a keen attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Experience with SAP and a multidimensional analytical tool is advantageous.
A minimum of 7 to 10 years in general accounting, preferably within an accounting firm or corporate environment, with a strong foundation in French GAAP and IFRS.
Higher diploma in accounting (DCG / DSCG / DEC).
