- Diagnose and describe the condition of timepieces to evaluate necessary repairs.
- Identify root causes of issues and select appropriate services in line with brand policies.
- Determine and procure necessary spare parts for repairs.
- Execute movement repairs, from simple to complex mechanisms such as perpetual calendars and tourbillons.
- Develop or utilize tools and processes to address repair challenges.
- Perform initial quality control checks and transfer completed pieces to the Quality Control Department.
- Maintain workshop organization and adhere to brand specifications for tools and procedures.
- Ensure all equipment is calibrated and maintained to high standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
- High School Diploma or GED preferred.
- Watchmaking diploma or certification.
- High level of dexterity and focus for handling small parts.
- Strong attention to detail and quality.
- Problem-solving skills using appropriate processes and tools.
- Ability to follow instructions and deliver high-quality results.
- Capability to sit for extended periods.
- Proficiency in all watchmaking functions as per experience level.
A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in watchmaking is preferred, with experience in luxury brands considered advantageous. Watchmaking level is determined by experience and ability to repair complex complications and calibers.
High School Diploma or GED preferred. Watchmaking diploma or certification required.
Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
