Richemont Transport and Customs Team Lead

- Manage a team of three direct reports and temporary staff, overseeing recruitment, training, and performance management to ensure optimal staffing and service levels.
- Oversee transport arrangements, manage carrier relationships, and address transport-related issues to ensure timely delivery across approximately 80 destinations, including non-EU countries.
- Serve as the primary contact for CITES administration, ensuring compliance through meticulous record-keeping and communication with the CITES office.
- Manage all import/export documentation and liaise with Dutch customs and the International Distribution Center Import/Export team in Switzerland.
- Handle transport-related administrative tasks, including invoice processing, cost allocation, and budget preparation, while managing claims with Finance and Security.
- Lead the development and implementation of the transport and customs compliance roadmap for Richemont Benelux & Nordics, collaborating with the European Head of Product Trade Compliance.
- Collaborate with local Maisons to understand and meet transport needs, identifying opportunities for service improvement and efficiency.
- Support various projects, including boutique openings, new initiatives, events, and supplier reviews, and participate in on-call services as needed.
- Proven experience in logistics, particularly in managing transport, customs, and compliance processes within a B2C environment.
- Strong understanding of CITES regulations is highly desirable.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Word and Excel; experience with SAP is preferred.
- Affinity with luxury goods and the associated transport, customs, and security challenges.
- Advanced verbal and written proficiency in Dutch and/or English.
- Highly organized and detail-oriented.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proactive problem-solver and strong team player with a customer-focused approach.
- Demonstrates integrity and diplomacy.
Proven experience in logistics, managing transport, customs, and compliance processes, ideally within a B2C environment.
