- Support the Head of Sustainability in executing the regional Sustainability Framework strategy to achieve compliance and reporting preparedness in line with GRI Standards and government mandates.
- Continuously review and enhance materiality priorities, alignment, and processes related to due diligence and remediation priorities.
- Formalize regulatory monitoring processes for the Americas and maintain a map of global and regional ESG reporting obligations.
- Conduct research and quantitative analysis to contribute to the development and execution of ESG compliance processes and data analytics.
- Collaborate with key internal stakeholders to facilitate impact risk assessments, gap analysis, and ensure implementation requirements are met.
- Prepare for evolving stakeholder needs and reporting requirements by leveraging knowledge of external ESG reporting frameworks and compliance standards.
- Oversee social impact strategy and ethical practices related to the supply chain and employee experience.
- Partner with Maisons and stakeholders for social impact due diligence and certification system audits.
- Support the development of end-of-life strategies aligned with sustainability goals for Maisons in the region.
- Analyze operations and supply chains to identify areas for improvement and resource efficiency.
- Lead stakeholder engagement to implement downstream solutions connecting with Non-Financial Reporting requirements.
- Build training curriculum for various audiences on sustainable practices and ESG due diligence requirements.
- Monitor emerging reporting trends and standards, educating others on relevant topics.
- Support the development of Laureus programming alignment with regional social impact strategy and manage employee outreach.
- Bachelor’s degree in environment, sustainability, law, or business.
- 3 to 5 years of experience in corporate ESG/Sustainability strategy, standards, and regulations.
- Comprehensive knowledge of sustainability practices, trends, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Understanding of ESG regulations, investor and legal obligations, and key corporate sustainability practices.
- Proven leadership skills and ability to influence across a broad organization.
- Experience managing medium/large scale projects in an unstructured environment.
- Project management skills to drive ESG initiatives and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Familiarity with sustainability reporting and disclosure requirements.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Exceptional teamwork and collaboration skills.
- Strong research and analytical skills with attention to detail.
3 to 5 years of experience in corporate ESG/Sustainability strategy, standards, and regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in environment, sustainability, law, or business.
Expected Salary Range: $105,000-120,000. Salary will be determined based on relevant skills and experience.
