1. Contribute to continuous improvement efforts using logistics, transportation, and import/export principles.
2. Develop skills in record keeping relevant to various supply chain areas.
3. Complete Duty Drawback claim filings, including document compilation and indexing, and data mining for quality assurance.
4. Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and data analysis to identify efficiency opportunities in import/export and transportation processes.
5. Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for interactions with carriers and government agencies such as US Customs, US Fish & Wildlife, and FDA.
6. Utilize data mining to gather metrics and recommend improvements for data visibility and utilization.
7. Study rule changes from US Customs and other agencies to implement data management changes for stakeholders.

1. Pursuing a B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics and transportation management, or import/export.

1. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
2. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
3. Innovative thinking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
4. Team player with a proactive approach to assisting projects and initiatives.

No prior experience required, but a background in supply chain management or related fields is preferred.

Pursuing a B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics and transportation management, or import/export.

This is a paid internship with compensation set at $20/hr.

Interns will gain valuable knowledge of the luxury goods industry and will be paired with a mentor to guide their learning experience.
