- Contribute to continuous improvement efforts using logistics, transportation, and import/export principles.
- Develop skills in record keeping relevant to various supply chain areas.
- Complete Duty Drawback claim filings, including document compilation and indexing, and data mining for quality assurance.
- Conduct time studies, value stream mapping, and data analysis to identify efficiency opportunities in import/export and transportation processes.
- Document standard operating procedures (SOPs) for interactions with carriers and government agencies such as US Customs, US Fish & Wildlife, and FDA.
- Utilize data mining to gather metrics and recommend improvements for data visibility and utilization.
- Study rule changes from US Customs and other agencies to implement data management changes for stakeholders.
- Pursuing a B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics and transportation management, or import/export.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Innovative thinking and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a proactive approach to assisting projects and initiatives.
No prior experience required, but a background in supply chain management or related fields is preferred.
Pursuing a B.S. degree in supply chain management, logistics and transportation management, or import/export.
This is a paid internship with compensation set at $20/hr.
Interns will gain valuable knowledge of the luxury goods industry and will be paired with a mentor to guide their learning experience.
