Richemont Strategic Communications Assistant
Richemont, a prestigious conglomerate in the luxury goods sector, is renowned for its portfolio of leading brands in jewellery, luxury watches, leather goods, fashion, and writing instruments. As part of its commitment to excellence, the Richemont Group Marketing department, which includes Group PR, plays a pivotal role in supporting the Maisons with strategic communication activities, leveraging expertise in research, analysis, and communications measurement tools.
- Conduct daily press reviews of Richemont Maisons, competitors, and global news to keep the department informed.
- Manage and maintain the department’s news database for Richemont Maisons and competitors.
- Maintain the external and internal events calendar to assist Maisons in strategic event planning and monitor competitors’ PR initiatives.
- Plan, write, and design the department’s monthly newsletter.
- Support the Communications sections of annual Marketing & Communications reports using qualitative and quantitative tools to extract data and draw conclusions.
- Manage day-to-day data input on Monday.com across the department’s work streams, including strategic communications, reputation, and sustainability.
- Collect, research, and synthesize content from industry forums and global thought leaders to enrich the department’s perspective and tools.
- Coordinate Earned Media reporting, ensuring quality control of data across Print, Web, and Social channels for all Maisons.
- Prepare internal presentations and ad-hoc reports to assist Maisons in communication strategies, including competitor analysis.
- Contribute to Impact Reports for Maisons by adding industry context and coverage insights.
- Previous work experience in the luxury or relevant industry sector in a communications or marketing role (minimum 1-year relevant experience).
- Passion for the luxury industry and Richemont Maisons.
- Agility and willingness to develop as the role evolves.
- Excellent written and spoken English.
- Highly organized with attention to detail.
- Good knowledge and understanding of the luxury landscape and news sources.
- Creative and strategic thinker with an eye for trends.
- Strong capacity for multi-tasking and diligence while working under supervision.
- Advanced Microsoft Office skills, especially Excel and PowerPoint.
- Deadline-oriented.
A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in communications or marketing within the luxury or a related industry sector is required.
