1. Lead and optimize all import and export activities, ensuring compliance with global customs regulations and enhancing supply chain efficiency across luxury goods categories.
2. Manage the daily operations of Richemont's Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ), ensuring adherence to U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP) and Partner Government Agencies (PGA) regulations.
3. Serve as the primary contact for trade and customs-related matters, offering expert guidance to internal stakeholders, including logistics, product and trade compliance, finance, and legal teams.
4. Develop, implement, and maintain robust trade compliance procedures and internal controls for import and export activities.
5. Manage relationships with customs brokers, freight forwarders, and transportation providers to ensure efficient, compliant, and cost-effective international shipments.
6. Support duty optimization strategies, including Duty Drawback, to generate cost savings.
7. Monitor regulatory changes and industry best practices, ensuring Richemont's trade operations adapt and remain compliant.
8. Conduct regular internal audits and risk assessments of trade compliance processes and FTZ activities.
9. Drive the strategic development, implementation, and continuous improvement of Richemont’s CTPAT (Customs-Trade Partnership Against Terrorism) security program.
10. Manage a cross-functional team to ensure ongoing program compliance and address security-related challenges.
11. Conduct regular risk assessments and implement enhancements to supply chain security protocols.
12. Provide training and development to internal teams on customs and trade compliance topics.

1. Minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience managing operations within a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).
2. At least 10 years of progressive experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or a corporate trade compliance environment.
3. Licensed Customs Broker (LCB) is highly preferred.
4. Proven track record as a self-starter and a compliance-driven leader.
5. Strong knowledge of CTPAT, Duty Drawback, and other U.S. trade programs and duty optimization strategies.
6. Demonstrated expertise in U.S. import and export trade compliance regulations, Harmonized Tariff Schedule (HTS) classification, and valuation principles.
7. International transportation experience, with knowledge of air, ocean, and ground transportation modes and practices.

1. Strong data analytical and reporting skills; proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required, and experience with Power BI is a plus.
2. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to collaborate effectively across multi-functional teams.
3. Proficiency in English is required; fluency in Spanish and/or French is advantageous.

A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in freight forwarding, customs brokerage, or a corporate trade compliance environment, with at least 3 years managing operations within a Foreign Trade Zone (FTZ).

Bachelor's degree in International Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, or a related field is preferred.

Salary will be negotiated based on relevant skills and experience.
