- Serve as the subject matter expert in Retail and Ecommerce accounting, providing guidance to boutique and ecommerce teams.
- Manage the reconciliation and clearing of various general ledger accounts, including trade debtors, VAT, and deposits.
- Ensure accurate delivery of month-end closing tasks in accordance with Group policy.
- Identify and implement efficient processes for accounts receivable management.
- Support projects aimed at improving department store cash and commission reconciliations.
- Provide dedicated brand support for Watchfinder.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of Watchfinder's bespoke ERP system from a Retail Back Office perspective.
- Ensure completeness of documentation and retention for audit purposes.
- Support compliance with local internal control policies and procedures through training, communication, analysis, and reporting.
- Participate in boutique stock counts as required.
- Assist with additional tasks and projects as needed.
- Proven experience in managing balance sheet accounts and reconciliations.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and SAP.
- Experience with accounts receivable processing.
- Experience in internal and external audit submissions.
- Strong communication skills with non-finance stakeholders.
- Ability to learn new ERP systems quickly.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines.
- Proactive, solution-oriented, and detail-oriented.
- Strong stakeholder management skills.
- Willingness to travel to the London office at least one day per week, with flexibility to meet business needs.
