1. Design, develop, and maintain Java-based microservices for high-performance backend solutions.
2. Ensure seamless integration with various systems, collaborating with Software Engineers, Architects, DevOps, and Product Analysts.
3. Contribute to all phases of development in an Agile environment, including coding, testing, deployment, and support.
4. Optimize CI/CD pipelines and troubleshoot production issues to enhance digital systems and customer experience.
5. Provide technical guidance, best practice recommendations, and mentorship to the team.
6. Maintain and improve existing services, ensuring code quality and reliability.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve software defects and performance issues.
8. Collaborate with the Support Team to diagnose and fix production issues.
9. Implement CI/CD pipelines and automate deployments with the DevOps Team.
10. Participate in code reviews and contribute to best practices.
11. Translate functional specifications into technical solutions.
12. Assist Quality Assurance Engineers and Test Managers in defining test strategies and automation frameworks.
13. Recommend changes to improve products and solutions.
14. Participate in Agile ceremonies, ensuring adherence to e-commerce processes and Richemont group standards.
15. Act as a subject matter expert for product features, focusing on security and user experience.
16. Advise on integrating product features with external systems to ensure data consistency.
17. Ensure compliance with global and local security regulations, focusing on data privacy.
18. Coordinate with third-party providers to align product features with external platforms.
19. Provide guidance on developing end-to-end flows for efficient and accurate data handling.

1. Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. Fluency in English; proficiency in French or other languages is advantageous.
3. 6+ years of experience as a Java Software Engineer.

1. Strong expertise in Java (21) and the Spring ecosystem (Spring Boot, Spring Data JPA, Hibernate, Spring Cloud).
2. Experience with microservices architectures and event-driven systems (ActiveMQ, Solace).
3. Strong understanding of RESTful APIs (Swagger/OpenAPI) and related protocols (JSON, XML, HTTP).
4. Proficiency in relational databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (MongoDB).
5. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, GitLab, Groovy).
6. Familiarity with IAM tools (Keycloak, OIDC flows) is a plus.
7. Knowledge of e-Commerce platforms and workflows is a strong advantage.
8. Proficiency in DevOps and tooling, including IntelliJ, Maven, Git, Bitbucket, GitLab, SonarQube, Checkmarx, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
9. Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
10. Excellent communication skills and ability to work with multinational, cross-functional teams.
11. Proactive, self-driven, and eager to learn new technologies.
12. Ability to work independently in a fast-paced Agile environment.

A minimum of 6 years of experience as a Java Software Engineer, with a strong focus on backend development and microservices architecture.

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
