Richemont Senior Accountant

- Manage and oversee financial operations for assigned business areas, ensuring accuracy and compliance with IFRS and Group guidelines.
- Coordinate the financial closing process for month-end and year-end, collaborating with various teams such as Accounting, Brand Finance, and Operations.
- Handle fixed asset accounting, including CAPEX reporting, and monitor related activities.
- Review and analyze trial balances, providing variance commentary as necessary.
- Execute general accounting functions, including journal entries, reconciliations, and P&L analysis.
- Monitor and process sales and margin adjustments across Retail, Wholesale, and E-commerce channels.
- Engage in inventory accounting, including journal entries, provisions, and reconciliations.
- Prepare sales, margin, inventory, and intercompany management reports.
- Analyze and reconcile gift certificates, merchandise credits, and customer deposit accounts.
- Prepare monthly lease accounting entries for assigned areas.
- Support unclaimed property reporting and state filings.
- Participate in process improvement projects to ensure compliance with internal controls.
- Assist in annual internal and external audits.
- Contribute to continuous improvement projects within inventory, fixed assets, and intercompany processes.
- Participate in key user testing for new system processes as required.
- Accounting degree with a minimum of five years of experience.
- Strong understanding of financial concepts and data analytics.
- Result-oriented team player with multitasking abilities.
- Strong analytical skills and high integrity.
- Self-starter with organizational skills, able to work independently under pressure.
- Proficiency in Excel and financial systems, SAP experience is a plus.
- High proficiency in written and verbal communication.
