Richemont Regional Technology Director, Business Foundations
Richemont is a leading Switzerland-based luxury goods group that owns a portfolio of maisons across jewellery, watches, leather goods and writing instruments. The group combines artisanal craftsmanship and heritage with increasingly sophisticated retail and digital platforms, operating internationally across wholesale, retail and e‑commerce channels.
- Define and execute the regional technology strategy for business foundations — core ERP, CRM, commerce integrations, payments, master data and analytics — ensuring alignment with global standards and local market imperatives.
- Lead end-to-end delivery of platform implementations, migrations and upgrades (including programme governance, budgets, timelines and risk mitigation) in close partnership with global IT, brand IT teams and business stakeholders.
- Own vendor selection and commercial management for regional suppliers and system integrators; negotiate contracts and ensure SLAs and KPIs are met.
- Establish and enforce architecture, integration and data governance patterns to ensure scalable, secure, and resilient system landscapes across retail, wholesale and finance functions.
- Manage and develop a multidisciplinary regional team of product owners, architects, engineers and project managers; foster capability building and talent pipelines.
- Act as principal liaison between regional business leaders and global technology governance bodies to translate business priorities into pragmatic technical roadmaps.
- Ensure compliance with local regulatory, data protection and payment standards and work with security teams to maintain robust operational controls and incident response capabilities.
- Drive continuous improvement through metrics, post-implementation reviews and adoption initiatives to maximise business value from platform investments.
- Proven leadership at director level or equivalent, with responsibility for regional or multinational technology functions within retail, luxury goods or fast-moving consumer industries.
- Demonstrable track record of delivering large-scale ERP/CRM/platform transformations and integrations across multiple markets.
- Strong commercial acumen with experience managing vendor relationships, negotiating contracts and controlling programme budgets.
- Deep understanding of enterprise architecture, data governance and security standards relevant to retail and finance operations.
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders across business and matrixed IT organisations, with exemplary communication skills.
- Experience operating in highly regulated markets and familiarity with payment, privacy and local compliance requirements in APAC.

Ten or more years of progressive enterprise IT experience, including at least five years leading cross-functional teams and major platform programmes in retail, luxury or consumer businesses; regional APAC experience strongly preferred.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, Business or a related discipline; advanced degree or relevant executive education preferred.
