Richemont Product Development & Quality Assistant — Footwear

- Support end-to-end development of footwear collections from concept through to production, ensuring adherence to brand standards and timelines.
- Prepare and maintain detailed technical packs, Bills of Materials (BOMs), lasts and construction notes for internal teams and suppliers.
- Coordinate sample requests, lab testing and fit sessions; document feedback and manage iterative changes across development cycles.
- Conduct quality checks on incoming samples and production runs, review factory reports and ensure corrective action plans are implemented.
- Communicate daily with design, sourcing, production and external suppliers to resolve technical queries and expedite approvals.
- Track sample ownership, approval statuses and shipping logistics; maintain accurate product development records in PLM and shared databases.
- Support costing and material specification sign-off processes, including leather, soles, hardware and finishing treatments.
- Assist with supplier visits and audits when required, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives focused on fit, finish and durability.
- Diploma or degree in Footwear Technology, Product Development, Fashion Design or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
- Practical knowledge of footwear construction, lasts, patterning and materials, with a demonstrable understanding of production processes.
- Strong attention to detail with an ability to interpret technical drawings and specification documents.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to liaise confidently with internal stakeholders and external suppliers.
- Proven organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple development streams under tight deadlines.

- Technical pack creation and specification management
- Microsoft Excel (advanced)
- Adobe Illustrator
- Centric PLM (or equivalent PLM experience)
- Quality assurance and lab testing coordination
Typically 1–3 years working in footwear product development or quality control within fashion or footwear manufacturing, preferably with experience supporting premium or luxury brands.
Degree or diploma in Footwear Technology, Product Development, Fashion Design, or equivalent vocational qualification.
