- Collaborate with HR to ensure compliance with legislative and audit requirements, facilitating accurate payroll processing.
- Implement necessary changes in the payroll system for new hires, departures, amendments, and various employee benefits.
- Ensure the integrity and accuracy of SAP HR data to guarantee timely and error-free payroll processing.
- Verify and confirm system changes with employees, managers, and providers as needed.
- Monitor and log upcoming events to ensure proactive action and review.
- Stay informed of legislative changes affecting payroll and benefits, collaborating with HR to plan for adjustments.
- Conduct monthly reporting to benefit providers.
- Assist in processing payroll to ensure accurate and timely employee payments.
- Provide guidance to employees on payroll, benefits, tax, and national insurance information available on the intranet.
- Perform additional duties as required.
- In-depth technical knowledge of UK payroll processes and legislation, including statutory compliance and financial reporting.
- Experience with auto-enrollment pension processes and benefits administration.
- Proven ability to propose improvements to existing processes and workflows.
- Effective time management and organizational skills to meet strict deadlines.
- Keen attention to detail to maintain data integrity.
- Understanding of PAYE legislation.
- Proficiency in HR systems and advanced Excel; SAP HR experience is preferred.
- Ability to work collaboratively under pressure and tight deadlines.
Demonstrated experience in payroll processing and benefits administration, with a focus on UK legislation and compliance.
