1. Conduct a comprehensive literature review on mechanical wear and scratch modeling for metallic alloys.
2. Develop a finite element simulation model for mechanical wear tests, calibrated against experimental measurements.
3. Execute an experimental plan focusing on the mechanical properties of materials and scratch test conditions.
4. Identify the most influential parameters affecting scratch resistance.
5. Document findings in technical notes and deliver regular presentations.

1. Enrollment in a Master's program or equivalent in a relevant field.
2. Strong knowledge of continuum mechanics.

1. Proficiency in finite element numerical modeling.
2. Experience with simulation tools such as Abaqus, Deform, Forge.
3. Understanding of metallurgy, particularly in steels and precious metals.
4. Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
5. Ability to work autonomously and take initiative.

Prior experience with finite element analysis and simulation tools is required.

Pursuing a Master's degree in a related field.
