- Collaborate with management to forecast and plan talent pipeline requirements.
- Advise business leaders on organizational capabilities, behaviors, structures, and processes.
- Provide HR specialist advice and direction to leaders.
- Lead and participate in cross-company strategic activities.
- Develop annual staffing plans and recruitment strategies with Talent Acquisition.
- Ensure job descriptions are current and comprehensive for all positions.
- Interview candidates to assess competencies, potential, and cultural fit.
- Manage internal transfers to enhance cross-functional and global mobility.
- Address staffing issues, including termination and redundancy, while minimizing legal risks.
- Implement performance management practices in alignment with central and regional guidelines.
- Guide managers in executing the annual performance management process.
- Advise managers on handling performance issues and corrective actions.
- Conduct annual Career Committees to assess employee potential and identify future talent.
- Advise on individual development plans and update succession data in SAP HR.
- Align compensation and benefits practices with regional standards.
- Provide feedback on benefit programs to Compensation & Benefits.
- Implement HR strategies to support divisional change initiatives.
- Ensure open communication processes and improve employee relations.
- Advise employees at all levels to address and prevent issues.
- 5+ years of HR experience for Manager level, 2-3 years for Assistant Manager level.
- Fluent in Japanese and business-level English.
- University degree.
- Understanding of Labour Law, Compensation & Benefits, and HR operations.
- Intermediate proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- High communication skills.
- Team player with a 'can-do' attitude.
- Customer focus and ability to build trusting relationships.
- Confidentiality, accuracy, and time management skills.

- Growth mindset and self-management.
5+ years of HR experience for Manager level, 2-3 years for Assistant Manager level.
