- Provide comprehensive administrative support to the HR department.
- Serve as a reliable source of information for employees regarding payroll and benefits.
- Address employee complaints promptly and professionally to ensure a safe and supportive workplace.
- Recruit and hire candidates who will positively impact the company, and coordinate their training.
- Act as a liaison between the HR department and other employees.
- Create policies and procedures to enhance the workplace environment.
- Liaise with HR Business Partners, hiring managers, and talent acquisition teams regarding vacancies and selection methods.
- Attend interviews and issue contracts of employment.
- Ensure hiring managers receive appropriate induction and review documentation for new staff.
- Stay updated with changes in the immigration system.
- Provide advice and guidance to managers and employees on policies and procedures.
- Assist with employee relations casework, including disciplinary and performance-related matters.
- Prepare employee-related letters and ensure documentation is up to date.
- Manage HR information systems, payroll, and benefits administration.
- Organize training courses and ensure employee records are current.
- Facilitate internal and external communications regarding staff matters.
- Fluency in English and Japanese.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint; SAP preferred.
- Understanding of labor laws.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficiency in administrative duties such as communications, data entry, and record keeping.
- Ability to handle confidential information with tact and professionalism.
- Proficiency with technology and the ability to learn new software easily.
