- Monitor bank statements for incoming cash payments and advise internal boutiques for timely sales transaction completion.
- Process and allocate cash receipts from boutiques in SAP, ensuring precise matching with POS transactions.
- Utilize Matchbox clearing software for credit card payment matching and resolve discrepancies.
- Inspect boutique compliance with daily closing checklists and communicate non-compliance issues to managers.
- Address errors in auto-interface processes to ensure timely revenue recognition and facilitate resolution.
- Validate and organize customer cash refunds, ensuring accuracy and authenticity to mitigate fraud risks.
- Conduct bi-annual boutique stocktakes, oversee the process, and resolve variances for stock accuracy.
- Monitor intercompany stock in transit and resolve outstanding issues.
- Assist with annual external audit requests and inquiries, ensuring accurate documentation and system navigation.
- Prepare monthly compliance tracking reports and summarize discounts and cash reports for brand management review.
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is highly regarded.
- 1-2 years of experience in finance back office, preferably in wholesale, retail, or hospitality.
- Proficiency in bank reconciliation for multiple accounts or POS systems.
- Ability to guide non-finance team members towards achieving objectives.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP is preferred but not essential.
1-2 years of experience in a finance back office role, ideally within the wholesale, retail, or hospitality sectors.
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance is highly regarded.
