- Maintain core global process governance frameworks, policies, and procedures through a standardized document process.
- Define and enrich global standards for the controlling process.
- Ensure compliance with data quality standards and regulatory requirements across all regions and entities.
- Coordinate and animate the business process community; collect and review business needs; prioritize needs and conduct first-level arbitration.
- Collaborate with regional, Maisons, and functional teams to align processes with business needs.
- Act as the key point of contact for process-related inquiries, challenges, and escalations.
- Partner with IT and business leaders to ensure system capabilities support process requirements.
- Identify opportunities to optimize master data processes, ensuring efficiency and scalability.
- Lead and manage global projects aimed at improving master data management and data quality.
- Identify opportunities for automation and implement solutions to reduce manual effort and minimize errors.
- Monitor and measure process performance, implementing best practices to drive continuous improvement.
- Build key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor the effectiveness of processes.
- Develop and deliver training programs for processes and policies.
- Lead change management initiatives to ensure smooth adoption of processes and systems.
- Work with IT teams to ensure master data systems are aligned with process improvements; ensure that the IS ecosystem addressing the end-to-end process is consistent, harmonized, and optimized.
- Oversee the integration of new technologies and tools to enhance master data management capabilities.
- Master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
- Professional certifications such as Chartered Financial Analyst (CFA) or Chartered Accountant (CA) preferred.
- Proficiency in controlling/Excel/Office software, profound understanding of IT infrastructure, enterprise applications (e.g., SAP, EPM tools like Hyperion, Anaplan, ONeStream) and modern IT tools and technologies (e.g., Power BI, Tableau for data visualization; SQL for data extraction).
- Ability to leverage technology to automate and streamline financial processes.
- Excellent listening and written communication skills and ability to explain complex concepts clearly and concisely.
- Proven ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of the organization including senior management and adapt to diverse work styles and environments.
- Leadership, conviction and influence, constructive approach in all circumstances.
- Highly organized, analytical, problem solving and capable of synthesizing complex information, rigor and methodical approach.
- Ability to work autonomously, time/priority effective management, and drive results with limited direction.
- Strong customer-service orientation, coupled with a sense of urgency, to ensure timely advancement and resolution of all program topics.
- Adaptability and flexibility, resilience and perseverance, ability to manage tense and stressful situations.
Minimum 15 years of progressive experience in Controlling with a proven track record in multi-country/multi-site environments.
Master's degree in finance, business administration, or a related field.
