- Oversee partnerships with managed service providers, ensuring stability amidst recent partner transitions.
- Ensure adherence to ITIL processes (incident, problem, request, change) across service providers.
- Maintain and develop the ITSM ServiceNow platform.
- Lead associated governance processes, including the Change Advisory Board (CAB).
- Propose continuous improvements to enhance the quality of operations, including resilience, build-to-run processes, incident resolution speed, and communication.
- Ensure operational readiness of infrastructure and applications, including comprehensive documentation, management of server/OS and middleware obsolescence, regular patching, vulnerability remediation, and system backups.
- Manage production incidents, both infrastructure and application-related, and communicate effectively with end users and top management.
- Conduct reporting on operational activities.
- Manage and coordinate internal teams and ensure seamless collaboration with other departments.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience, with at least 5 years in a similar operations management role in a demanding environment.
- Strong general IT knowledge (Infrastructure/Cloud, Network, Applications) with an operational focus and understanding of architectural principles.
- Ability to manage a small internal team with complementary talents and to oversee outsourced services with a demanding yet partnership-oriented approach.
