- Process monthly payrolls accurately and maintain payroll files.
- Manage payroll calendars in collaboration with payroll signatories and benefit suppliers.
- Prepare payroll journals for the local Finance team and provide necessary support.
- Reconcile and confirm payment of statutory local deductions.
- Address inquiries from team members and local tax and governmental agencies.
- Ensure compliance with local legislation and internal payroll practices.
- Maintain accurate payroll process documentation with contingency plans.
- Manage relationships with external payroll providers and conduct regular audits.
- Complete and reconcile statutory end-of-year returns and implement system upgrades.
- Ensure data accuracy within Payroll/HR functions and manage payroll systems.
- Record and monitor staff absences and payroll exceptions.
- Maintain compliance with GDPR regulations and support digitalization of processes.
- Control benefits contracts and annual renewals, providing recommendations to HRD.
- Benchmark local compensation and benefits, making strategic recommendations.
- Guide employees on benefits administration and develop communication tools.
- Support HR Business Partners with benefits communications and employee performance reviews.
- Collaborate with HRD on talent and reward strategy and candidate packages.
- Minimum 5 years of relevant experience.
- Bachelor's or Master's degree.
- Strong command of English; knowledge of French, Dutch, or Nordic languages is advantageous.
- Excellent computer skills, particularly in Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Extensive analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines with attention to detail.
- Proactivity, flexibility, and initiative.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll and benefits management, preferably within the luxury fashion industry.
Bachelor's or Master's degree.
