Responsibilities
- Lead the procurement process for all Loro Piana events, including sporting events, brand activations, and corporate functions.
- Conduct detailed market research to identify and evaluate potential vendors and venues.
- Develop and implement global procurement strategies to onboard the best vendors, ensuring high-quality services.
- Monitor bidding processes and optimize event budgets for cost-effectiveness while maintaining high quality standards.
- Cultivate and sustain robust relationships with key vendors and suppliers within the events ecosystem.
- Deploy the procurement strategy across various regions, ensuring alignment with global objectives and local market dynamics.
- Negotiate high-value contracts with vendors, suppliers, and venues, securing favorable terms.
- Oversee and manage event budgets, ensuring precise forecasting and expense control.
- Collaborate closely with senior internal stakeholders to understand event requirements and objectives.
- Develop and maintain a strategic database of preferred vendors and suppliers.
Qualifications
- University degree in business administration or a related field.
- 10+ years of experience in procurement, with significant experience in events or related agencies.
Skills
- Master of budget and cost breakdown for events activities.
- Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of SAP is a strong plus.
- In-depth understanding of the luxury events landscape, including key vendors, venues, and industry best practices.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficient in Italian and English, both spoken and written; French is a plus.
- Team-working attitude and flexibility.
- Willingness to travel in Italy and internationally.
Experience Requirements
Minimum 10 years of experience in procurement, with significant experience in events or related agencies.
Education Requirements
University degree in business administration or a related field.
