Loro Piana Production Manager

- Manage a team initially comprising 16 employees, including 15 new hires.
- Enforce company policies regarding workplace safety and conduct.
- Monitor performance indicators and implement improvement actions.
- Collaborate with the scheduling team to define efficient production schedules while adhering to deadlines.
- Work with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and plans.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
- Ensure regular maintenance of machinery to prevent production stoppages.
- Develop tools to optimize department organization, such as Lean, Kanban, and Kaizen methodologies.
- Enhance the versatility of operators.
- Oversee the production of prototypes and industrialization phases to anticipate potential production issues.
- Contribute to the growth of internal hemming by integrating and training new operators.
- Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role managing production departments
- Strong decision-making and accountability skills
- Excellent communication and people management abilities
