1. Manage a team initially comprising 16 employees, including 15 new hires.
2. Enforce company policies regarding workplace safety and conduct.
3. Monitor performance indicators and implement improvement actions.
4. Collaborate with the scheduling team to define efficient production schedules while adhering to deadlines.
5. Work with subcontractors and suppliers to ensure compliance with quality standards and plans.
6. Lead continuous improvement initiatives within the department.
7. Ensure regular maintenance of machinery to prevent production stoppages.
8. Develop tools to optimize department organization, such as Lean, Kanban, and Kaizen methodologies.
9. Enhance the versatility of operators.
10. Oversee the production of prototypes and industrialization phases to anticipate potential production issues.
11. Contribute to the growth of internal hemming by integrating and training new operators.

1. Master's degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering
2. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role managing production departments
3. Strong decision-making and accountability skills
4. Excellent communication and people management abilities
5. Organized, rigorous, and methodical
6. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
