Kering Senior Payroll Specialist

- Process bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support urgent payroll requests from senior leadership, including off-cycle payments and adjustments.
- Develop strong controls and procedures to ensure accurate and timely payroll with a focus on employee satisfaction.
- Identify, research, and resolve payroll discrepancies, implementing measures to prevent future issues.
- Handle complex payroll transactions such as pay adjustments for international employees, clothing allowances, and tuition reimbursements.
- Process quarter-end and year-end pay and tax adjustments, ensuring compliance with relevant laws.
- Stay current on new legislation affecting payroll and ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws.
- Collaborate with HR Business partners to manage checks, approvals, and specific payrolls for terminations and bonuses.
- Handle post-payroll reporting and processes, including resolving errors and providing monthly reports to brands and finance.
- Support system implementations with thorough analysis and testing.
- Ensure successful management of pension schemes and other benefit-related payments.
- 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.
- Strong time management skills.
- Experience with queries, internal/external payroll reporting, and audit procedures.
- Working knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws.
- Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
- Ability to research and interpret payroll-related topics and adapt to new information.
- Problem-solving skills and comfort working independently.
A minimum of 5 years of experience in payroll processing is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
The position offers a hybrid work environment with 3-4 days required in the office, providing flexibility and work-life balance.
