1. Process bi-weekly payroll for exempt and non-exempt employees in the US and Canada, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
2. Support urgent payroll requests from senior leadership, including off-cycle payments and adjustments.
3. Develop and maintain strong controls and procedures for accurate and timely payroll processing.
4. Identify, research, and resolve payroll discrepancies, implementing preventive measures.
5. Handle complex payroll transactions such as pay adjustments for international employees, clothing allowances, and garnishments.
6. Process quarter-end and year-end pay and tax adjustments, ensuring compliance with laws.
7. Stay updated on legislation and regulatory changes affecting payroll.
8. Collaborate with HR Business partners for terminations, bonuses, and other payments.
9. Manage post-payroll reporting and processes, including error resolution and monthly reports.
10. Support system implementations with analysis and testing.
11. Ensure successful management of pension schemes and benefit-related payments.

1. 5+ years of experience in payroll processing.
2. Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.

1. Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUPS.
2. Strong time management skills.
3. Experience with payroll reporting and audit procedures.
4. Knowledge of multi-state payroll tax laws.
5. Detail-oriented with excellent analytical and organizational skills.
6. Ability to research and interpret payroll-related topics.
7. Problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.

A minimum of 5 years in payroll processing, with a focus on multi-state payroll tax laws and complex payroll transactions.

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field.
