Kering Junior Accountant

- Analyze and interpret financial reports and statements of Italian legal entities.
- Ensure smooth operation of accounting activities in the Milan office.
- Track order cycles, invoices, and payment approvals.
- Record and issue invoices, perform cost evaluation, and imputation.
- Support inter-company reconciliations.
- Manage petty-cash bookkeeping, financial reporting, and bank account reconciliations.
- Balance and process monthly financial statements.
- Maintain accounting books and mandatory records, verify and file tax documents.
- Process ordinary tax, including VAT declarations and Intrastat management.
- Monitor credits and recover overdue payments.
- Close financial statements, including settlement and correction entries.
- Prepare statutory financial statements and conduct auditing activities.
- Prepare ad-hoc reports and analyses as required by management.
- Collaborate with the controlling department to support monthly reporting and budget/forecast activities.
- Degree in Economics or a diploma in Accounting.
- Former experience in a similar role.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel.
- Knowledge of AS400, JD Edwards, and/or SAP is advantageous.
- Fluency in Italian and good command of English, both written and spoken.
- Strong understanding of general and fiscal accounting principles and standards (IFRS).
- Familiarity with analytical-management accounting, budgeting procedures, business economics, tax law, and business organization.
- Analytical and detail-oriented with a strong sense of confidentiality.
- Effective team player with the ability to work autonomously.
Previous experience in a similar accounting role is required.
Degree in Economics or a diploma in Accounting.
