Kering General Accounting Manager

- Oversee the accounting closing process for retail companies, including general ledger, fixed assets, and tax accounts.
- Ensure compliance with IFRS and local GAAP standards across European countries.
- Lead month-end and year-end closing processes, preparing and analyzing financial statements.
- Streamline financial reporting practices to meet statutory and consolidation deadlines.
- Implement robust internal controls to ensure data integrity and regulatory compliance.
- Act as the primary contact for auditors, ensuring local tax compliance with external firms.
- Identify and implement process improvements and best practices in financial operations.
- Manage the centralization of local accounting activities within the shared services center.
- Develop and implement procedures for intercompany flow management.
- Lead projects to enhance reconciliation quality and automation for intercompany transactions.
- Collaborate with FSSC services to streamline processes and manage intercompany payments.
- Manage a team of approximately 15, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Participate in monthly meetings with Kering Houses to present financial results.
- Maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including auditors and regulators.
- Serve as the key contact for financial accounting matters at the European platform.
- Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
- 10 years of experience in a similar role, preferably in a shared services environment.
- Strong technical accounting skills with expertise in local and international GAAP.
- Proven team management and leadership abilities.
- Proficiency in Excel and operational knowledge of SAP.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities under tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills in English.
A minimum of 10 years in a similar position, ideally within a shared services environment, demonstrating strong technical accounting skills and team management experience.
Master’s degree in accounting or finance.
