Kering Chargeback Analyst

- Review and analyze chargebacks for assigned accounts, primarily Neiman Marcus and Nordstrom, including coop, returns, shortages, pricing, discounts, and restocking fees.
- Research chargebacks and access vendor portals to obtain claim copies and supporting documents.
- Dispute invalid claims and issue credits for valid Coop (GGW).
- Collaborate with external and internal customers to resolve chargeback issues.
- Contact Brand Management to verify the validity of allowances and ensure advertising and coop spending are within budget.
- Prepare general ledger entries for resolved items.
- Consolidate and record all outstanding issues for Neiman Marcus Quarterly Settlement and negotiate settlement terms with their AP team.
- Maintain and update Vendor Compliance spreadsheet monthly, preparing adjustments for valid claims.
- Assist in collection activities by contacting customers regarding past due invoices and providing necessary documentation.
- Prepare reports such as consolidated aging, promises, and trial balance as needed.
- Assist in internal and external audits and special projects assigned by management.
- 3-5 years of general experience in a retail environment.
- Analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to analyze problems and direct appropriate actions.
- Strong communication and follow-up skills.
- Detail-oriented with a curiosity to learn and address discrepancies.
- Ability to meet hard deadlines, multitask, and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Understanding of a multi-brand environment and ability to work with all levels of management.
- Effective organizational skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; SAP experience is a plus.
3-5 years of general experience in a retail environment is required.
