Kering Assistant Accountant - P2P

- Perform routine and transactional processing within the Accounts Payable function to ensure quality and accuracy.
- Conduct pre and post-payment controls for batch payments.
- Execute emergency payments in accordance with Project Alfred exceptions and payment controls.
- Perform manual payments via the bank portal.
- Update payment logs as payments are executed.
- Provide backup support to peers as needed.
- Execute and release batch and emergency payments according to schedules and bank cut-offs.
- Address invoice processing inquiries within two days.
- Assist with new process implementations and maintenance of Treasury and Accounts Payable policies.
- Monitor performance measures and key performance indicators.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives for process efficiency.
- Ensure adherence to internal controls and accounting principles.
- Test new processes and systems for improved payment processing.
- Manage stakeholder relationships and address issues and requests.
- Train new team members and enhance team interaction.
- Degree in Accounting or professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA.
- 1-2 years of relevant job experience.
- Good understanding and knowledge of SAP.
- Industry or shared services experience is advantageous.
- Knowledge of fundamental accounting concepts and procedures.
- Advanced knowledge of office productivity tools (MS Office).
- Proficiency in SAP FI/CO module is an added advantage.
- Strong negotiation and communication skills in English.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to handle sensitive situations.
- Quantitative and analytical skills.
- Ability to build strong relationships with customers and internal departments.
1-2 years of prior related job experience is required.
Degree in Accounting or professional certification such as ACCA, CPA, or MIA.
