Hermès Textile Development Assistant

- Manage the creation and updating of collection tracking tools, fabric boards, lining scans, and fabric samples in collaboration with fabric development managers and other interns.
- Oversee fabric sample and swatch management, including supplier loans, organization, and archiving.
- Assist in the preparation and dispatch of fabric and color development dossiers to manufacturers.
- Update and maintain fabric boards and material racks daily, ensuring accurate labeling and integration into various tools.
- Coordinate supplier relations, including follow-ups on information, deliveries, and pricing requests.
- Monitor quality tests in collaboration with the quality department and manage supplier follow-ups for essential documentation.
- Ensure traceability of purchased materials by managing certificates of origin.
- Currently enrolled in a textile design school, IFM (development track), or a commercial school with a focus on fashion and textiles.
- Strong interest in materials and women's ready-to-wear.
- Keen interest in textile research and innovation.
- Proficiency in Excel, including pivot tables and VLOOKUP.
- Knowledge of Photoshop and Illustrator is advantageous.
- Recognized for precision, dedication, and eagerness to learn.
- Ability to understand and anticipate diverse needs and manage multiple stakeholders.
Relevant experience in textile development or a related field is preferred.
Currently pursuing a degree in textile design or a related field.
