Hermès Technical Development Project Manager - Textiles

- Lead technical development of new textile products and countertypes, collaborating with the purchasing team for sourcing.
- Create detailed specifications for suppliers, in collaboration with the product development and artistic direction teams.
- Prepare development product quotes and manage development timelines.
- Participate in supplier selection with purchasing and supply chain teams.
- Ensure technical project follow-up with product development, artistic direction, and suppliers.
- Manage material and prototype orders for development purposes.
- Calculate industrial cost prices and manage development budgets.
- Oversee the final prototype realization and create product nomenclatures in ERP.
- Supervise pre-series and series head validation, including tooling and final pricing.
- Develop technical specifications and drive continuous product and process improvement with the Quality Manager.
- Report and evaluate supplier performance.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in technical development of new products, preferably in the textile and luxury sectors.
- Strong project management skills with medium-sized suppliers.
- Proficiency in information systems and project structuring.
- Fluency in English, with Italian proficiency being advantageous.
- Expertise in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ingenuity and pragmatism.
- Curiosity and autonomy.
- Analytical and synthesis capabilities.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to interact in a dynamic environment.
- Ability to manage complex projects with perseverance.
A minimum of 5 years in technical product development, ideally within the textile and luxury industries.
Technical or generalist education background.
