1. Manage the software asset lifecycle, including procurement, deployment, maintenance, and retirement.
2. Ensure compliance with software licensing agreements and regulations.
3. Develop and implement software asset management policies and procedures.
4. Conduct regular audits to ensure software compliance and optimize asset utilization.
5. Collaborate with IT and procurement teams to forecast software needs and budget accordingly.
6. Maintain an accurate inventory of software assets and track usage metrics.
7. Provide training and support to staff on software asset management best practices.

1. Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Certification in Software Asset Management (SAM) or IT Asset Management (ITAM) preferred.
3. Proven experience in software asset management or related field.
