- Manage a dedicated supplier panel to support the company's growth and sustainability objectives.
- Ensure continuous improvement of the supplier panel, stabilize production capacity, and consolidate sustainable collaborations.
- Conduct frequent visits, audits, and analyses of supply chains.
- Ensure supplier compliance through audits, monitoring, and support.
- Analyze supplier risks and implement security plans in collaboration with the direct purchasing group.
- Develop and implement best practices, tools, and methodologies for control.
- Source and develop suppliers to adapt the supplier panel to the business's needs and challenges.
- Negotiate pricing and service conditions, and formalize collaborations with key partners.
- Monitor supplier performance in collaboration with various departments.
- Bachelor's degree with a specialization in purchasing or equivalent (Bac +5).
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
- Strong knowledge of the leather industry and tanneries.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint.
- Team spirit, autonomy, organization, and flexibility.
- Proficiency in Italian is an advantage.
