HermèsQuality Manager

- Propose and manage supplier performance objectives.
- Implement and analyze quality indicators.
- Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of quality action plans with tanners.
- Ensure tanners comply with documentation systems and control tools.
- Manage alignment on articles and quality criteria.
- Oversee skin reception control to optimize material use.
- Manage safety and risk management related to changes with tanners.
- Act as the main contact with tanners in collaboration with Purchasing and the business.
- Report quality alerts and review skin alignment regularly.
- Update quality indicators and reporting with the Glove department.
- Follow development projects for new models each collection.
- Validate risk analyses for new models.
- Validate pre-series launches with the Glove department.
- Analyze non-conformities from suppliers excluding leather.
- Analyze pairs rejected during final quality control and manufacturing.
- Lead corrective and improvement action plans.
- Facilitate skill alignment and finished product control.
- Ability to receive and classify leather materials with a strong sensitivity and knowledge of leather.
- Mastery of problem-solving methodologies.
- Teamwork oriented, dynamic, and agile.
- Ability to lead change.
- Ability to independently manage activities with the client business.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills to work with various departments.
- Ability to participate in reporting sessions with HMS and Glove department management.
- Regular travel to suppliers for alignment, meetings, and training in the Paris region.
- Professional proficiency in English.
Experience in a tannery within a technical-industrial environment is a plus. Experience as a cutter is desired.
