Hermès Leather Quality Manager

- Propose objectives and drive supplier performance.
- Implement and analyze quality indicators to identify discrepancies.
- Ensure the implementation and effectiveness of quality action plans with tanners.
- Ensure tanners adhere to documentation systems and control tools.
- Oversee alignment of quality criteria and material optimization.
- Manage safety and risk management related to changes with tanners.
- Act as the primary liaison with tanners in collaboration with Procurement and the métier.
- Raise quality alerts and regularly review material alignment.
- Develop and update quality indicators and reports for the Glove métier.
- Monitor new model development projects for each collection.
- Validate risk analyses for new models and pre-series launches.
- Analyze non-conformities and implement corrective actions.
- Ability to receive and classify leather materials with a strong sensitivity and knowledge of leather.
- Proficiency in problem-solving methodologies.
- Team-oriented, dynamic, and agile.
- Capability to lead change and autonomously manage activities with clients.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for interfacing with various departments.
- Experience in reporting sessions with HMS and Glove métier management.
- Willingness to travel regularly to suppliers for alignment and training.

Experience within a tannery in a technical-industrial setting is advantageous. Experience as a cutter is desired.
