Hermès Project Manager, Art Procurement and Scenography

- Oversee the design and execution of unique artist showcases in collaboration with international artists and local subsidiaries.
- Provide comprehensive support to artists, ensuring their vision is translated into projects that meet Hermès' standards.
- Coordinate with local teams to ensure faithful production and optimize communication with subsidiaries for seamless project management.
- Manage logistics and contractual aspects of artistic collaborations, including scheduling, budgeting, and negotiations.
- Source and identify scenographic talents for event projects, ensuring aesthetic and narrative coherence with the brand's identity.
- Develop concepts in collaboration with creative and technical teams, managing production timelines and budgets.
- Contribute to the development of content for seminars and initiatives supporting subsidiaries in window displays and scenography.
- Participate in strategic cross-functional projects, including product integration, mannequin considerations, and CSR issues.
- Collaborate closely with the Director of Art Procurement and Scenography to define priorities and adjust projects as needed.
- Maintain rigorous documentation of projects to capitalize on best practices and provide regular progress reports.
- Advanced degree in design and/or scenography.
- 6 to 8 years of experience in a similar role within a high-end creative environment, such as scenography, theater, design, or contemporary art.
- Significant experience in managing artistic or event projects is essential.
- Experience in an international context is highly valued.
- Project management expertise with the ability to handle multiple complex projects simultaneously.
- Artistic and scenographic vision with a strong aesthetic sensitivity and understanding of diverse artistic realms.
- Excellent interpersonal skills for engaging with artists, designers, and international stakeholders.
- Meticulous organizational skills to manage priorities in a demanding environment.
- Fluency in French and English, both written and spoken; additional languages are a plus.
6 to 8 years in a similar role within a high-end creative environment, with significant experience in artistic or event project management.
Advanced degree in design and/or scenography.
