Hermès Press Assistant

- Monitor print and digital media landscapes for press clippings and values related to local and Hermès International activities.
- Distribute editorial content promptly to all Hermès Australia employees.
- Develop and manage the media database.
- Assist in developing press calendars in collaboration with the Communications Manager.
- Create seeding proposals for beauty and fragrance launches in alignment with CNP guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Communications Manager on the Influencer at Large framework.
- Provide media with accurate product information, descriptions, pricing, and stockist details.
- Maintain the showroom in a presentable condition for media visits.
- Facilitate press sample loans using local press rail products or with international press office support.
- Receive and audit press inventory in coordination with Finance and Audit teams.
- Collaborate with the Communications Director and Manager to circulate press releases and announcements.
- Assist in coordinating new season press showings and press/influencer events.
- Maintain communication with Hermès International office.
- Report on local or international post-campaign events.
- Work with the Events Team on PR, Retail Animations, and Press events.
- Perform ad hoc administrative duties for the communications department.
- Stay informed on media, industry trends, and developments.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in media relations, preferably within the luxury or high-end fashion industry.
- Proven media network and ability to manage external agencies.
- Strong relationship development skills with excellent interpersonal and communication abilities.
- Experience in implementing press plans.
- Creativity and innovation.
- Ability to work autonomously in a dynamic environment.
- Team player attitude embodying Hermès Maison values.
- Passion for Hermès creations and comprehensive product knowledge.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to multi-task and prioritize.
- Degree in communications, media relations, or marketing.
