1. Coordinate and oversee the quality assurance processes for knit materials and indirect supply chains.
2. Advise and support team members on material-related issues without assuming their responsibilities.
3. Implement and organize operational quality procedures to ensure material compliance with Hermès standards.
4. Contribute to the development and evolution of material specifications.
5. Analyze material risks and product associations during the development phase.
6. Lead quality risk reviews each season and communicate key performance indicators.
7. Define control plans for suppliers to ensure quality and safety compliance.
8. Collect and monitor test results from suppliers, synthesizing findings for internal stakeholders.
9. Alert collection and production teams of non-conformities and initiate corrective actions.
10. Participate in product compliance processes as needed.
11. Establish quality standards for materials in production when necessary.
12. Collect compliant samples for testing in China and Korea, ensuring timely resolution of non-conformities.
13. Evaluate and rationalize wear test requirements during the collection phase.
14. Plan and manage the wear test budget.
15. Ensure the homologation of permanent product models over time.
16. Define and analyze relevant KPIs for supplier compliance and quality audits.
17. Conduct supplier audits, providing SWOT analysis feedback and supporting continuous improvement.
18. Coordinate quality alerts and corrective action plans across production teams.
19. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through quality indicators and supplier progress plans.

1. Degree in textile engineering from institutions such as ENSAIT, ITECH, or ENSISA.
2. 3 to 5 years of experience in a similar role.
3. Proven experience in a high-end or luxury brand.
4. Strong knowledge of materials and associated testing.
5. Fluency in English; proficiency in Italian is an advantage.
