- Serve as the ambassador for materials within Hermès and with external partners.
- Ensure the excellence of material quality by leveraging artisanal expertise and quality assurance in manufacturing.
- Collaborate closely with the Expertise team to define appropriate testing protocols.
- Support suppliers throughout the production lifecycle, ensuring they have necessary resources for compliance.
- Define analysis frequency for tracking sheets based on tanner performance and maturity.
- Collaborate with Incoming Quality to ensure uniformity in control criteria as per studio requirements.
- Provide support to internal clients in case of quality issues.
- Conduct risk analyses with partners during changes.
- Make swift decisions regarding non-conformities detected at reception.
- Address quality alerts promptly using the 8D format.
- Define and monitor improvement plans with suppliers, addressing internal and client defects.
- Deploy and share scorecards to track supplier performance.
- Implement Quality Assurance processes with partners, including performance management, audits, and action plans.
- Develop safety surveillance plans internally and with suppliers.
- Ensure compliance with Hermès requirements by suppliers.
- Support suppliers in adhering to new regulatory requirements.
- Assist the industrialization service in validating articles during new developments or major changes.
- Engineering degree with 6 years of experience in the technical-industrial sector.
- Ability to develop problem-solving methodologies.
- Team-oriented, dynamic, and adaptable.
- Proficiency in driving change.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills for cross-departmental collaboration.
- Sensitivity and knowledge of leather materials.
A minimum of 6 years in the technical-industrial sector, with a focus on quality management and material expertise.
Engineering degree.
