Hermès Materials Development Intern

- Assist the development manager with new material projects, both transformed and natural.
- Ensure adherence to the development timeline from sourcing to production, organizing meetings and follow-ups.
- Initiate material trials in IT systems, including style and SKU creation, order placement, and trial reception in ERP.
- Maintain budget updates.
- Create presentation materials on specific themes or projects, and summarize by collection.
- Document all material trials with photos, dossiers, and qualitative/aesthetic feedback.
- Update the supplier database.
- Conduct market research, map existing expertise, and identify key players.
- Contact and system reference new partners, including contracts and supplier profiles.
- Develop and update trade show schedules.
- Create summary sheets on targeted monitoring topics, such as natural materials.
- Collect and categorize data on completed projects.
- Define performance indicators for development and distribution.
- Propose strategic analysis and recommendations.
- Conduct inventory of material stock, manage ERP records, report inventory results, and resolve discrepancies.
- Student in a Bac +5 program: engineering, business, design school, or IFM.
- Strong sensitivity to materials with a keen interest in high-quality objects and materials.
- Recognized for seriousness, autonomy, organizational skills, and good interpersonal skills.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Strong relational and writing skills.
Student in a Bac +5 program: engineering, business, design school, or IFM.
