Hermès Leather Materials Development Intern

- Assist the development manager in projects involving new transformed and natural materials.
- Ensure adherence to development timelines from sourcing to production, organizing key meetings and follow-ups.
- Initiate material trials in IT systems, including style creation and SKU management in PLM, and order processing in ERP.
- Maintain and update the budget for material development projects.
- Create presentation materials for specific themes or projects, and synthesize information by collection.
- Document all material trials, including photography, dossier creation, and qualitative/aesthetic feedback transcription.
- Update the supplier database with new information and contacts.
- Conduct market research to map existing expertise and identify key players in the industry.
- Establish contact with new partners and manage their system registration, including contracts and supplier profiles.
- Develop and update the schedule for trade shows and create summary sheets for targeted topics under surveillance, such as natural materials.
- Collect and categorize data on completed projects, defining performance indicators for development and distribution.
- Propose strategic analysis and recommendations based on data insights.
- Conduct inventory management for the materials stock, including counting products, managing records in ERP, and resolving discrepancies.
- Currently enrolled in a Master's program (Bac +5) in Engineering, Business, Design, or at IFM.
- Strong interest in high-quality objects and materials.
- Recognized for seriousness, autonomy, organizational skills, and interpersonal abilities.
- Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
- Strong organizational and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in data analysis and strategic thinking.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
No specific professional experience required, but a background in luxury fashion or material development is advantageous.
Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a relevant field.
