- Support the analysis of quality issues by applying scientific methods to identify root causes of observed failures, primarily in leather, through analyses and tests conducted within the Expertise Laboratory.
- Lead technical projects to enhance technical and scientific knowledge of materials within the division.
- Provide technical support on leather expertise issues in the context of quality alerts, technical developments, or team projects.
- Conduct first-level characterization analyses (IR spectroscopy, XRF, microscopic observations, chemical or physico-mechanical analyses) to understand the origin of observed failures.
- Utilize knowledge of the tanning process to guide analyses, depending on the candidate's profile.
- Manage the AMDEC leather tanning process project to consolidate team knowledge on known failure modes and support risk analyses conducted by Material Quality Managers during process changes signaled by tanners.
- Scientific degree (Bac+5) in materials, chemistry, or related field with a minimum of 2 years of experience.
- Knowledge and interest in chemical analysis techniques and material characterization.
- Familiarity with leather and tanning processes is advantageous.

Minimum of 2 years in a scientific or technical role related to materials or chemistry.
Bachelor's degree or higher in a scientific field such as materials or chemistry.
