- Manage the workshop's activities, including preparation, leather assembly, lining assembly, and finishing, focusing on quality and productivity.
- Plan daily, weekly, and monthly productions according to orders.
- Ensure production adheres to luxury sector standards and technical requirements.
- Propose improvements in techniques and practices for sustainable work comfort, quality, and efficiency.
- Oversee material and supply procurement, anticipating workshop needs and coordinating with support services.
- Participate in weekly production meetings with the workshop director and other managers.
- Supervise, train, and motivate the production team to ensure high-quality craftsmanship.
- Facilitate smooth communication within the team to resolve technical issues and optimize processes.
- Conduct individual performance evaluations and develop skill enhancement plans.
- Guide artisans towards autonomy and foster their development within the team, aligned with Hermès' values.
- Control quality at each production stage and ensure finished products meet company standards.
- Establish and monitor quality control processes throughout production.
- Manage product returns and identify defect causes to implement corrective actions.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance efficiency while maintaining quality.
- Analyze workshop performance and propose solutions to optimize production costs while meeting deadlines.
- Ensure preventive and corrective maintenance of workshop equipment to prevent production halts.
- Anticipate activity fluctuations and optimize staffing to ensure smooth workshop operations.
- Collaborate with design office teams, method managers, and product technicians for new model implementation.
- Work closely with production coordination services to ensure material availability for the workshop.
- Participate in production and strategy meetings to ensure seamless communication across company departments.
- Proven experience in production management within fashion, garment, or similar industries.
- Minimum of 5 years in a similar role, preferably in the luxury industry.
- Strong team and production management experience, particularly in garment or leather goods workshops.
- Expertise in high-end garment and finishing techniques.
- Proficiency in luxury industry materials and specifications.
- Proficiency in computer tools.
