Lead Data Engineer

1. Lead the industrialization of the data platform infrastructure on Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
2. Set up dedicated and isolated environments (Dev/Preprod/Production).
3. Automate deployment and maintenance of environments using infrastructure as code tools (Terraform) on GCP.
4. Implement observability solutions (monitoring, alerting) within GCP.
5. Support the data team in data transformation activities using Python and SQL/SQLX.
6. Maintain data pipelines in Python (batch and stream).
7. Implement and maintain data quality tools (e.g., Great Expectations in Python).
8. Develop workers in AWS Cloud to retrieve data from Kafka and send it to PubSub in GCP.
9. Standardize the team's codebase (linting, CI/CD, various tests).
10. Maintain and create architecture schemas and document internal processes.
11. Collaborate with other data teams: data analysts, SEO/SEA, and emailing.
12. Ensure data anonymization and archiving in compliance with GDPR and internal data processing policies.
13. Ensure the security of infrastructure, data, and code.

1. Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering.
2. Bachelor's degree +5: Engineering School or Master's in Big Data, Mathematics, or equivalent.
3. Sensitivity to digital e-commerce issues.
4. Organized, rigorous, curious, autonomous, with good written expression and interpersonal skills.
5. Good level of English for international communication.
6. Strong self-learning abilities on technical aspects.

1. Proficient in Python and SQL.
2. Experience in collaborative code development (DevOps).
3. Knowledge of streaming technologies (Apache Beam, DataFlow, Kafka, PubSub, SNS/SQS).
4. Experience with BigQuery.
5. Familiarity with GCP tools or equivalent cloud platforms.
6. Experience with ETL (data transformation) tools.
7. Knowledge of data transformation tools like Cloud DataPrep, DataIku, Alteryx.
8. Understanding of machine learning is a plus.

Minimum 7 years of experience in Data Engineering.

Bachelor's degree +5: Engineering School or Master's in Big Data, Mathematics, or equivalent.
