Hermès Knitwear Product Manager

- Assist the development manager in launching trials, kits, prototypes, and final previews for fashion shows.
- Oversee the development and reception of all yarns for the collection.
- Input, plan, prioritize, and manage daily collection launches to adhere to delivery schedules, alerting to any delays or issues.
- Ensure the reception and quality control of all launches.
- Receive and verify sketches against expectations, archiving and preparing them for collection tracking software.
- Update model nomenclatures post-fitting sessions.
- Monitor yarn progress throughout the season, from color dispatch to spinners and knitters to lab-dip and dye reception.
- Request and track yarn certificates for all selected collection yarns.
- Manage and optimize yarn stock at season's end.
- Daily management of collection models to meet fitting schedules.
- Prepare documents and supplies for manufacturers, ensuring reference models are included.
- Conduct regular check-ins with manufacturers regarding shipment adherence.
- Control received models and assist in preparing collection meetings.
- Participate in the archiving of samples and models.
- Monitor collection invoicing and reconcile with deliveries.
- Provide regular budget reports.
- Conduct end-of-season analyses, evaluating quantitative and qualitative metrics, activity peaks, deadline adherence, and supply issues.
- Bachelor's degree plus four years of education.
- Three years of professional experience in knitwear product development within ready-to-wear; experience in a studio and luxury sector is advantageous.
