- Oversee the production consumables purchasing category, ensuring compliance with contractual and pricing terms and making necessary adjustments.
- Conduct annual meetings with suppliers to maintain and develop packaging solutions that meet internal client demands.
- Monitor and manage supplier performance, including financial health, CSR policies, and quality assurance.
- Participate in supplier consultations and referencing in collaboration with the Buyer or Purchasing Manager.
- Conduct supplier sourcing, financial analysis, and evaluation questionnaire development.
- Assist in drafting consultation documents and analyzing offers, including qualitative and financial assessments.
- Engage in supplier presentations and negotiations, consolidating choice dossiers and drafting contracts.
- Support contract deployment, including implementation tracking and communication.
- Enhance purchasing reference databases across various categories, including cost metrics.
- Draft standard contracts, consultation documents, and procedures.
- Follow up on corrective actions identified during supplier audits.
- Update supplier databases with regulatory elements.
- Enrollment in a higher education program specializing in Purchasing, seeking an internship or end-of-study placement.
- Proficiency in numerical data and strong command of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Demonstrated rigor, efficiency, autonomy, and organizational skills to manage priorities and urgencies.
- Excellent interpersonal and analytical skills to adapt to a demanding environment.
- Teamwork aptitude.
