Hermès Internal Control Officer

- Conduct regular store visits to assess operations and propose enhancements.
- Perform recurring controls on system reports to ensure transaction justification and support.
- Monitor and assist with Group questionnaires review, including store, corporate, and treasury aspects.
- Participate in annual physical inventories to ensure adherence to Group procedures and review cycle counting plans.
- Ensure compliance with Group Purchases procedures, including contract validation and supplier account creation.
- Ensure compliance with laws and Group requirements, including anti-money laundering, anti-corruption, and data protection laws.
- Assist in the implementation of the Business Continuity Plan (BCP).
- Follow up on Group procedure updates and implement them in the local context.
- Maintain risk mapping and ensure proper segregation of duties in collaboration with the IT Department.
- Assist during audits conducted by the Paris audit central team and ensure the implementation of recommendations.
- Participate in ad hoc projects and inquiries.
- Over 6 years of experience in a similar role within the retail industry or a Big Four firm.
- Curiosity to build knowledge and understand risks and controls.
- Strong interpersonal skills for effective stakeholder collaboration.
- Strong analytical skills to identify, assess, and address risks.
- Adaptability to work in a dynamic environment with flexibility in issue resolution.
- Positive mindset for collaboration across functions.
- Very strong ethical standards.
- Advanced Excel skills
- Effective communication skills
- Proficiency in English
Over 6 years of experience in a similar position within the retail industry or a Big Four firm.
