Hermès Intellectual Property Legal Intern

- Draft and analyze contracts related to intellectual property in both English and French, including product development agreements, rights transfer contracts, and brand coexistence agreements.
- Validate new projects, products, and services developed by the Selective Brands & Crafts Division, including conducting prior rights searches and competitive analysis.
- Monitor and manage the registration processes for industrial property rights, including handling notifications and third-party oppositions.
- Oversee and defend intellectual property rights through oppositions, annulment actions, and revocation actions.
- Draft, negotiate, and validate various contractual documents in both French and English, such as service agreements, equipment purchase contracts, manufacturing contracts, and confidentiality agreements.
- Ensure operational projects comply with applicable regulations in France and internationally, including product launches and marketing operations.
- Provide legal advice and assistance to operational teams on business law and intellectual property law matters.
- Manage and track pre-litigation and litigation cases with the assistance of external legal counsel.
- Participate in legal monitoring for the division.
- Currently pursuing or holding a Master 2 in Intellectual Property Law or Business Law from a business school.
- At least 6 months of successful internship experience in a corporate or law firm setting, preferably in intellectual property or business law.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to adapt and respond quickly.
- Excellent teamwork capabilities with the ability to work autonomously and maintain confidentiality.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and legal databases.
- Fluent in written and spoken English.
A minimum of 6 months of internship experience in a corporate or law firm setting, particularly in intellectual property or business law, is preferred.
Master 2 in Intellectual Property Law or Business Law, or currently pursuing this degree.
