- Collaborate with the Managing Director and Head of Commercial to establish vision, strategy, and sales targets for retail partners, aiming to enhance sales and profitability.
- Regularly assess progress towards objectives and develop action plans as necessary.
- Lead, coach, and motivate the retail team to achieve outstanding results, fostering a high-performing workforce in collaboration with Regional Managers.
- Enhance team skills and capabilities at both group and individual levels, and develop a succession plan for long-term growth.
- Coordinate with the Head of Commercial, National Training Manager, and HR on recruitment, engagement, salary reviews, performance management, and training for retail staff.
- Ensure consistent brand image and retail excellence through collaboration with Marketing and Operations teams, driving retailer engagement.
- Drive operational efficiency and effectiveness in-store, ensuring high visual merchandising standards and adherence to training guidelines.
- Prepare detailed sales reports, highlighting risks and growth opportunities, and manage retail sales targets in collaboration with the Head of Commercial and Managing Director.
- Enhance retail sales productivity by recommending optimal staffing, stock levels, and tactical sales plans.
- Review distribution strategy with key stakeholders and support team negotiations with retail partners.
- Partner with the National Training Manager to ensure exceptional product knowledge and service excellence among retail staff.
- Degree or industry-related qualification.
- Minimum of 7 years’ retail management experience, preferably within the luxury sector.
- Strong understanding of retail principles and practices.
- Genuine affinity for the luxury goods industry.
- Results and KPI-driven mindset.
- Strong project and time management skills, capable of handling complex cross-functional projects.
- Commercial acumen.
- Effective problem-solving abilities, with a focus on improving effectiveness and resolving issues.
- Strong presentation skills, able to translate analysis into actionable plans for senior management and retailers.
- Effective communication skills across diverse stakeholders.
A minimum of 7 years in retail management, ideally within the luxury sector.
Degree or industry-related qualification.
