- Manage pricing and performance of manufacturers in alignment with the internal needs of the Footwear Division.
- Collaborate with the development and industrialization teams to gather requirements and request pricing from manufacturers for each collection phase.
- Ensure timely receipt and analysis of pricing sheets from manufacturers, ensuring technical and collection target alignment.
- Participate in negotiations with manufacturers, leveraging technical support from development and industrialization teams as needed.
- Maintain and update data in systems, ensuring timely communication to internal departments such as collection and finance.
- Monitor technical product modifications during production and analyze corresponding price changes.
- Adhere to and follow the purchasing process through to contract signing with manufacturers.
- Prepare evaluation and performance analysis dossiers for manufacturers, collecting necessary internal and external information.
- Collaborate with the buyer to oversee the manufacturer panel and drive performance in terms of pricing, capacity, timelines, production ecosystem, and expertise.
- Organize performance reviews with manufacturers.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of purchasing processes in collaboration with the Elegant Women's BU.
- Engineering or business school degree with a specialization in purchasing.
- Knowledge of the footwear industry.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing department.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Numerical aptitude and analytical thinking.
- Proficiency in Italian is advantageous.
- Strong analytical and synthesis skills.
- Expertise in IT tools, particularly Excel and dashboards.
- Sensitivity to manufacturing environments and culture.
A minimum of 2 years of experience in a purchasing department, preferably within the footwear industry.
Degree in engineering or business with a specialization in purchasing.
